The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops announced the draft agenda of its November 16-19 meeting in Baltimore.
In addition to voting for a new conference secretary and six committee chairmen, the bishops will discuss AI, immigration, the Guadalupan Novena marking the 500th anniversary of the apparitions, and the growing number of conversions.
The bishops will also vote on seven action items, including a new edition of the Lectionary for Mass and Book of the Gospels, an annual Day of Prayer for Racial Justice, and consultation for the causes of beatification and canonization of Maria Middleton and Thomas Steven Vander Woude.
