Gregory Pierce, author of Spirituality at Work, wrote, “We spend so much time at work it would be a shame if we couldn’t find God there!” I propose that we can find God at work and, more specifically, that our work life, when properly discerned and fully engaged, provides a unique road to discovery of the transcendent and that the quest to give meaning to our work is a deeply spiritual enterprise.
