Rome – “All for One” is the title of the 2026-2027 formation program launched by Missio Ragazzi, the Secretariat of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood in Italy. The title is intended as a child-friendly adaptation of the theme of World Mission Day 2026: “One in Christ, united in mission.”
For the 2026-2027 pastoral year, Missio Ragazzi’s annual formation program has been developed in close connection with Il Ponte d’Oro, the magazine published by Fondazione Missio for children and young people, which has long been regarded as a valuable resource for young missionary disciples.
The national team and the magazine’s editorial staff jointly developed the program. It is presented in the September issue of the magazine through five stages, each corresponding to a liturgical season, enabling educators to structure the program from the beginning of the pastoral year.
Each session includes a Gospel passage and commentary, a proposal for a personal commitment, missionary reflections and testimonies, games from around the world, group activities and educational resources aimed at fostering awareness of global realities.
Subsequent issues of the monthly Il Ponte d’Oro will provide further material and resources to support a formation program increasingly focused on missionary awareness and commitment among children.
“The 2026-2027 formation program has been designed and written specifically for children and young people. It is intended to complement Christian initiation programs for children aged 6 to 14, including those already in place, such as catechism classes, ACR, Scouts and Araldini,” Missio Ragazzi’s international secretariat said.
“For educators, the program also includes explanatory pages which, alongside methodological notes, offer additional ideas and activities for engaging children during group meetings,” the secretariat added.
Alongside the annual program, Missio Ragazzi provides educators, catechists, ACR youth leaders and Scout leaders each year with resources for the various liturgical seasons. These include materials for Missionary October and World Mission Day; an animated video and activity ideas for the Feast of All Saints; an Advent calendar; a Christmas novena; prayer resources for Holy Week; an initiative for the Easter Octave; and “A Hail Mary for…” during the month of May.
The common thread running through all these initiatives is a transversal approach: a small contribution towards a pastoral ministry that is increasingly missionary in outlook.
