There Are No Atheists

A popular American Catholic editor, author and lecturer, James Gillis (1876-1957) was raised in Boston. After attending St. Charles College, Baltimore, and St. Paul’s College, Washington, he earned his doctorate in theology at the Catholic University of America in 1903. He had joined the Paulist Fathers in 1898 and was ordained in 1901. Not only was he a member of the Paulist mission band, but he also served for many years ass the editor of The Catholic World.
