An Israeli man who attacked a French religious sister in Jerusalem this spring was acquitted because of mental illness and sent to a psychiatric facility for up to six years.
Jerusalem Magistrate Court Judge Ophir Tischler ruled that the assailant could not be held responsible for the assault.
