A Quarter of Irish Gen Z Will Have No Children, New Report Says

According to a new report from the Iona Institute in Ireland, 1 in 4 Gen Z women in Ireland will be childless by the age of 45 if current fertility trends remain.

While current trends show that 1 in 4 young women today will remain childless, Iona Institute’s Breda O’Brien said the huge question is ‘whether this will be by choice or circumstance.’
