Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk, the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, said that Russian forces vandalized a Greek Catholic parish in Tokmak before handing it over to Russian Orthodox clergy.
Major Archbishop Shevchuk also thanked Pope Leo for his appeals for peace:
