A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with an attempted arson attack on the cathedral in the French town of Die.
The young man “was seen by a witness to be busy lighting a fire in the middle of the cathedral using matches and a candle,” the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe reported. “Following his arrest, investigators reportedly found videos of fires on the suspect’s mobile phone.”
