ASIA/PHILIPPINES – Appointment of the Apostolic Vicar of Tabuk

Vatican City – Pope Leo XIV has appointed Father Sean Buslig Mejia, of the clergy of the same Vicariate, as Apostolic Vicar of the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk, currently Pro-Vicar of the same Vicariate.
His Exc. Msgr. Sean Buslig Mejia was born on March 3, 1972, in Bulanao, Tabuk City , in the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk. After studying philosophy at San Pablo College Seminary in Baguio City and theology at the Immaculate Conception School of Theology in Vigan City, he earned a licentiate in canon law from the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome.
He was ordained a priest on October 19, 1999, in the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk.
He has held the following positions and completed further studies: Parish Vicar of the Flora Catholic Mission in Apayao ; Head of the Lubuagan Catholic Mission in Kalinga ; Formator at the Immaculate Conception School of Theology in Vigan City ; Formator at San Pablo College Seminary, Vigan City ; Vicariate Chancellor ; Pariah priest of St. William’s Cathedral in Butanao, Tabuk City ; Chairman of Education Commission ; Superintendent of the Catholic Schools of Tabuk ; Parish priest of the Flora Catholic Mission in Apayao . Parish priest of the Tuga Catholic Mission, Tabuk City, Kalinga ; Pro-Vicar of the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk .
