Dr. Delgado deserves Nobel Prize

For decades, the pro-abortion movement has masked its murderous agenda in the language of liberty, freedom, and choice. There are, of course, any number of examples which put the lie to the pretense that advocates of abortion seek only to increase the range of options available to women. But one of the most glaring, surely, is their failure to acknowledge a medical breakthrough that does just that, and which has no other aim than to give women the freedom to choose otherwise, and to provide them with the prerogative of a second thought.

Dr. George Delgado, an American pro-life physician, has pioneered a treatment protocol (Abortion Pill Reversal or APR) that, when applied quickly enough, can, in most cases, reverse the effects of the most commonly administered abortifacient drugs. By supplying the vital hormone blocked by these drugs, Dr. Delgado’s protocol has led to more than 6000 documented cases of babies surviving what should have been a fatal course of oral abortifacients.

We, therefore, urge the Nobel Prize Committee to award this physician with its prize for medicine. Aristotle called medicine and teaching the two arts that aid nature; Dr. Delgado’s APR allows nature to take its course, reversing an infanticidal intervention that is the result of man’s ingenuity—and depravity. By honouring Dr. Delgado with its highest award, the Nobel Committee has an opportunity not only to acknowledge this doctor’s life-saving innovation, but also to teach a vital lesson to a profession so sorely in need of humane and principled exemplars, one which embodies the neglected ideals of the ancient and sacred art of healing.
